We saw previously how to reproduce a Norwegian pickup pattern. Let’s now study how to include such a pattern in a larger loom.

First choose an already designed pattern, for example http://raktres.net/l/tz

We are going to add sides of ten threads with two clicks on “+10”

 

Then we use the “move right” button on the plain panel to get

You can notice that the picked up threads didn’t moved with colors.

Click the “move right” of the pickup panel to align pickup threads and colors.

Switch back to the “Plain and colors” mode to add some colors to the sides

You may even adjust colors to your needs and add a few pickup on the sides

When happy with the result, click “save”
